well, depends on what you like…I know some great indies…Joleene Naylor writes a dark vamp UF (SHADES OF GRAY book 1) and Linda Welch writes a cool UF/serial killer (ALONG CAME A DEMON book 1)

My favorite authors include P. G. Wodehouse (Jeeves stories) and Terry Pratchett (Discworld series). Neither are romance writers although there are romances in the stories themselves.
