Today it’s a bit dreary outside, but I’ll take a bit of rain over dry heat any day. All day I’ve been editing and writing. Enough to make me think that I might be surgically attached to this laptop…
The countdown has begun! Less than 2 weeks until RWA in NYC! Woo hoo! Last year I tried to do a blog post from each day. It was a lot of work and I plan to do it even bigger this year! (Both video and photos!) Hee hee! (To see more of my repetitive summer activities, check out my post over at the Magic & Mayhem blog. For some reason, I do the same thing every summer…)
In other news, I blogged today over at Wicked Authors. I talked about how I think books fit us like a perfect pair of jeans. I also made note that I visited Coldstone Creamery for the first time. The place is divine! And pure scrumptious evil! LOL
I’m ashamed to report that it took me many months to finally finish MOCKINGJAY by Suzanne Collins. My Goodreads review is here. (Take note, I did put down for the Goodreads challenge that I’d read 50 books this year. Sadly I am quite behind!) At least I know how the trilogy ends, which is a good thing since the movie comes out next year! I can’t wait! I can’t wait!
I’ve finished the first Anita Blake book by Laurell K. Hamillton and now I’m moving onto THE LAUGHING CORPSE.
Another fabulous development that came to my inbox today: I got a preview of what my cover might look like! Woo hoo! Even though I can’t show off anything it’s cool to see my characters come alive! I can’t wait for you to meet Natalya and Thorn!
